Described as a Tranquil 'Mr Crabtree' type water totalling 6 acres. I must admit on visiting the water I totally agree. It is quiet and secluded and very enjoyable to fish. It is actually recorded as East Anglia's oldest lake. Vic of Viscount Tackle, Ipswich has recently stocked the water with 8000 fish of various species to increase the sport further.
Species
Most species are present, we received a recent report at Tackle Mart of the capture of a tench weighing in at 11 lb! There are carp to double figures and on some days roach and rod are one a cast.
Baits
Recommended baits at present are red maggot and sweetcorn or worm.
